Preparing For Your First Appointment...
Updated: Mar 1, 2021
Microblading has become one of today's most popular beauty trends. It's a treatment that can drastically enhance your look, while saving you time and simplifying your beauty routine. The treatment only takes about 2 hours, but the results can last you up to 2 years (depending on your skin type, skincare routine and lifestyle).
Because microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, it's important that you have an idea of what you want your results to look like, and that you've taken the appropriate steps to prepare for your appointment before you meet with your artist.

Here are some tips for how to prepare for your appointment:
Avoid drinking alcohol at least 72 hours before your appointment. Alcohol thins your blood, which makes it runny and can cause you to bleed. When you bleed excessively during your appointment, your healed results may look blurry and less defined.
Avoid taking any blood-thinning medication at least 72 hours before your appointment; This includes Vitamin E, Aspirin, Niacin, fish oil supplements, and Ibuprofen.
Bring a few reference photos with you, or color your brows in the way you normally wear them - that way your artist will have a better idea of exactly which "look" you like!
Wash your hair the day before your appointment, that way you’re less likely to get your brows wet as you shower while they're healing!
Microblading is one of the fastest growing beauty trends, and it's so exciting that you've decided to get your eyebrows microbladed for the first time. If you found these tips helpful, or if you'd like more information, feel free to leave your feedback in the comments.
Thanks, and see you at your appointment!
